Thomley’s first festival a huge success!
Accessival 2023 – that’s a wrap!
THANK YOU to all of our supporters, volunteers, staff, performers and of course visitors who attended our first ever festival! The rain didn’t dampen our spirits and we were rewarded with a day of glorious sunshine.
Our main objectives of this event were to offer families the opportunity to experience a community festival, which may be difficult at other venues. Providing a safe and accessible place to enjoy all of the aspects of a festival without judgement. We also wanted to ensure that Thomley generated income from the event to help support our regular services for people of all abilities and disabilities.
One Mum who was so emotional as she left the festival thanked us for “Giving us as a family the opportunity to enjoy music, an alcoholic drink and a dance without judgement. It’s been a magical experience”.
We hope you’ll agree it was a fantastic, emotional and unique day to remember.
