I first discovered Thomley with my son in 2005 and was impressed with the facility but most importantly, the warmth of the feeling it always had and the kindness of the staff.  As a parent carer living in Buckinghamshire I have since known many local friends who are regular visitors and avid fans of Thomley, all of whom experience that same warmth and kindness I did.

In my professional life I trained in HR and worked in the financial services sector before moving to the voluntary sector in 2006 when I joined Contact, For Families of Disabled Children, where I have worked my way up to become its Director of Participation and Business Development.  I feel I have a wealth of professional, charity governance and personal experience to offer Thomely but also lots to learn from everyone involved in making Thomley what it is, so I was delighted to be appointed a Trustee in March 2023.
